Dear JCHS Families,
We’re pleased to share information about JCHS National Assessment Day on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. This day gives students the opportunity to participate in assessments that support college and career planning.
Freshmen and sophomores (9th and 10th grade) are automatically registered for the PSAT, so no registration is needed.
Juniors and seniors (11th and 12th grade) must select the assessment they would like to take and complete registration by September 30, 2026.
Please review the information below to learn more about the available assessments and any steps your student may need to complete.

PSAT: Why should an 11th-grade student take the PSAT?
Students should consider taking the PSAT/NMSQT if they are interested in qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship Program or exploring other scholarship opportunities connected to the test.
