Reynolds Named STAR Student, Uesseler STAR Teacher

Jackson County High School proudly announces its exceptional student and teacher as they shine brightly in the prestigious Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program.

Riley Reynolds, a standout student at Jackson County High School, has been named the STAR Student for the graduating class of 2024. This honor is awarded to the student with the highest SAT score, showcasing Riley's dedication to academic excellence. In the spirit of the STAR program, Riley has chosen Ms. Erin Uesseler as the STAR Teacher, recognizing her as the most influential teacher throughout Riley's educational journey.

The STAR program, sponsored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation, aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding academic achievement among Georgia's high school students. The unique aspect of the program is the student's choice of the STAR Teacher, acknowledging the educators who have made a lasting impact on their lives.
