JCHS' Dushime Named to Mental Health Youth Advisory Council
Jackson County High School junior Joyce Dushime has been named to the National Mental Health Youth Advisory Council for Creative Visions' #CreateConnectCare campaign. The initiative encourages youth to leverage storytelling and creative expression to promote youth mental health and well-being.
Dushime is one of 17 students from throughout the nation selected to the council. She will lead a community impact project to raise awareness and inspire their peers to submit creative expressions to the #CreateConnectCare campaign. Creative Visions is providing each council member with a $250 micro-grant to fund their community project.
