Band Secures Second Grand Championship
The Jackson County High School marching band secured another Grand Championship Saturday, competing at the Berkmar Marching Invitational. The Grand Championship is the second for the Panther marching band in as many competitions.
JCHS received Superior ratings in Colorguard, Drum Major, Percussion, Band Judge 1, Band Judge 2 and Band Judge 3. JCHS also took home first place in Class AAAA in Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion and Band. JCHS received Best in Show for Colorguard with a score of 95 and Best in Show in Percussion with a score of 99.
