Band Closes Out Competition Season
The Jackson County High School marching band closed out its competition season Saturday at the Lafayette Marching Classic. The band received superior ratings for Drum Major, Colorguard, Percussion and Band to earn second place out of 18 bands in competition.
The JCHS band received the highest colorguard and percussion rating of the day. The JCHS Band claimed two grand championships in the first two competitions of the season.
