Three JCSS Students Named GHP Finalists

Three sophomores from the Jackson County School System will be attending the Governor's Honors Program this upcoming summer. East Jackson High School's Dominic Miller and Jackson County High School's Brayden Sabin and Charlie Hansen will all represent the music category during the 2025 GHP program, which will be held at Georgia Southern University.

GHP offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom setting, and is designed to provide students with academic, cultural and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global thinkers, innovators and leaders.

The program runs from mid-June to mid-July, with students attending classes in the morning and afternoons in specific content areas.
