National Honor Society for Dance Arts

The mission of the National Society for Dance Arts is to recognize artist merit, leadership and academic achievement in students studying dance in K-12 public and private schools. NHSDA also exists to foster an appreciation for dance as a true art form and one worthy of recognition and prestige. 

Membership into the NHSDA is based on a number of factors including service hours, academic GPA, continuing dance education, character and leadership. Induction happens each spring and members are recognized at the Jaxco Dance annual spring recital. 

Those interested in becoming a part of the JCHS Chapter of the NHSDA should see Mrs. Ware, Jaxco Dance Director, for further information and specific induction requirements.
